Crystal Palace Junior Triathlon – 23/05/10
Orla Fawcett won her first triathlon of 2010 in the girls 11- 12 year old age group with Rachel Padwick finishing 4th. Sandie Pohlman finished 3rd in the girls 9 – 10 year old age group in the London Region series event. Results are here.
Chiltern Awards for Achievement in Sport – 14/05/10
Dan Barraclough was presented with the Chiltern Awards for Achievement in Sport in the under 15 category. This is for exceptional amateur achievement in sport through outstanding personal performance during the calendar year, 2009. Dan’s biggest achievements were winning the Inter-Regional Championships and being the first finisher in the Welsh National Championships. This is the third time he has won this award.
Kings Langley Triathlon – 18/07/10

Winchester Triathlon – 09/05/10
In very cold conditions for May at Winchester, Rob Hall won the boys 11 - 12 year olds event; Orla Fawcett, Amy Fawcett and Emily Bench finished 2nd, 3rd and 8th respectively in the girls 11 – 12 year old event; Alice Hall, Emma Barraclough and Katie Bench finished 2nd, 3rd and 6th respectively in the girls 13 -14 year old event; Ben Hall finished 3rd in the Youths event; Tom Hall finished 9th in the 8 year old boys event.
Lizzie Barraclough and Sandie Pohlman were eventually acknowledged to have finished 1st and 3rd in the girls 9 – 10 year olds (although the results have not been adjusted by the organisers) after marshals directed some competitors off the bike course a lap early. This caused considerable confusion in this age group’s results.
Winchester was the first triathlon in this year’s South East region series. Results are here.
Hillingdon Children’s Duathlon, 2nd May 2010
At the London Region’s Hillingdon Duathlon in fairly cold and wet conditions, Tom Hall, Sandie Pohlman, Orla Fawcett and Alice Hall all won their age groups, Amy Fawcett and Rob Hall finished 2nd, Izzy Taylor and Katie Bench 3rd, Rachel Padwick 5th, Emily Bench and Ben Hall 6th and Jamie Taylor and Elizabeth Taylor 7th. Results are now loaded The Hillingdon Duathlon club records are also updated.
Hamble Aquathlon – 24/05/10
At the first South-east region series aquathlon of 2010, Orla and Amy Fawcett finished 2nd and 7th respectively in the girls 11/12 year olds event, Katie Bench and Elizabeth Seal 4th and 12th respectively in the girls 13/14 year olds event and Charlotte Ibbeson 7th in the girls 9/10 year olds event.
